Huey has more than 35 years as a global HR and supply chain executive. He was most recently the Senior Vice President of HR for Mattel, Inc., supporting the Chief Supply Chain Officer, Chief Product Development Officer, and their organizations. In this role he developed strategy for the HR and Facilities teams across the globe, supporting over 55,000 employees. He and his team played critical roles in the transformation of all functional areas within the Global Supply Chain.
Prior to Mattel, Huey was the head of Human Resources for the Broadband Communications Sector (Connected Homes) of Motorola, Inc. globally. He supported the President/CEO and his staff while leading the HR function for this most successful $8B growth businesses in Motorola. During his tenure at Motorola, he also led HR for two Motorola businesses for the Asia Pacific region as well as the entire Asia Supply Chain out of both Hong Kong and Tianjin, China. Earlier, he served as the International VP of HR for General Instruments Corporation based in Taipei, Taiwan. With over 20 years of work experience in Asia, he picked up basic Mandarin Chinese. Huey was also President of the Southeastern Division of U.S. Leadership, Inc., a management-consulting firm specializing in mergers/acquisitions and the organizational development of private entrepreneurial emerging growth companies.
Huey has also had leadership roles in other large multinational corporations such as Kimberly Clark, International Paper and LTV. He is a past Board of Directors member for INROADS and was a recipient of the Mattel, Inc. President & CEO award, which acknowledges outstanding leadership and performance of key executives.
